Event Description
Join us as we plan our artistic and musical itinerary for October through May, 2011. Bring your best ideas to the table. I'll provide some tapas and drinks. I'm also asking that each person bring three arts related ideas that we could do as a group. We'll put all of the ideas on the table and plan our course from there! Feel free to bring other artistic and/or musical friends to the table. I have a piano and a guitar too so if anyone cares to entertain us for a while, they are free to have a seat at my amazing piano. Let's create some unforgettable experiences for the Blackhawk Arts Community!

I would like to make a Manger scene using Kokeshi dolls. Kokeshi is a Japanese style doll that is cone-shaped, flat on the bottom and round at the top. I need to know where I can get wood shaped like that because I don't know how to do woodwork, and even if I did I don't have the equipment necessary to complete the task.
